Gravity Duck is a nifty little puzzler, offering plenty of levels to try your hand at. Although frustrating at times, with a price tag of only £4.99, its stunning pixel aesthetic and enjoyable gameplay more than justify your purchase.

Gravity Duck offers an entertaining enough, if repetitively simple, time. But it ends far too quickly. Taking into account what other low-priced Switch titles offer, including those from the same developer, this game is a sizable distance from great. Gravity Duck does nothing to stand apart amidst its crowded genre. Having zero replay incentive is a crucial blunder! It might have been better staying a free flash game or a cheap mobile offering. This Duck needed more time in the oven to reach its potential. Review: Gravity Duck (Nintendo Switch) Average Gravity Duck offers an entertaining enough, if repetitively simple, time.

Gravity Duck isn’t a broken game, nor is it a badly made game. The biggest problem with it comes from the shallow nature and utter boredom factor you’ll experience. While League of Evil offered more collectibles, more content, and more fun, this game is just a linear romp from Point A to Point B, one that’ll get absolutely insufferable as you make it to the end of the second world with little in the way of anything impressive. The game works, and the concept is simple, but sometimes simplicity can be overdone, and that’s exactly what happened here. Don’t hope for the achievements to add replay value either, as it literally gives up halfway through the game before awarding you the platinum super early.

It’s simple by name, simple by nature, and sadly you get what you pay for.
