CRITIK
Soccer game, developed to coincide with the finals of the UEFA EURO 2004 tournament in Portugal (June 2004). In UEFA EURO 2004, gamers can play as any of the 51 European nations as you immerse yourself in the deepest championship mode ever released. Players can arrange and play friendly matches against other nations or play through the tournament going from qualifying, to playoffs and into the finals. In addition to tracking injuries and suspensions, a new dynamic morale system will track players' morale, which will fluctuate based on individual and team performances and affect player abilities on the field.

UEFA Euro 2004 might have only a fraction of the teams and features found in this year's FIFA offering, but the gameplay and options it offers are actually sufficiently different from those found in FIFA 2004 to make it a worthwhile purchase. The primary mode of play in UEFA Euro 2004 is the tournament itself, which allows you to assume control of any of the 51 European teams that start their campaigns to qualify for one of 16 places in the tournament finals around two years before they're actually held.

The number of gameplay modes really enhances the replay value of the game, and there is even an online mode included to go out and challenge opponents online. Graphics: 8.5 The animations were great quality, and when the camera zooms down to the players themselves, each one looks different and hopefully it is the actual likeness of the real player (since I don’t follow it that much, I wasn’t 100% sure).

It's very fun, and a complete game in its own right, but it may seem too familiar to some. Gameplay When it comes to pick-up-and-play ability, EA soccer games have always excelled.

During matches, a new passing feature allows for better control of long passes, using a combination of buttons to produce greater ball control in mid-air. In the right hands, the new move can be lethal. Of course, if you already own Fifa 2004 then you can probably live without this Uefa spin on proceedings.
