I'm a big believer in the theory a great game always has that "just one more game" feeling, and Railroad Tycoon 3 delivers that in spades. While there are things about the game I didn't like, they only stop a great game from being even better.

Never has there been a tycoon game this visually attractive or effectively designed to minimize micromanagement.

PopTop steams onto the scene with a product that's nearly everything a strategy game needs to be: easy to pick up and play, but deep enough to engross players for hours and months on end. » How Our Ratings Work Rate This Game Select 1 - Poor 2 - Fair 3 - Good 4 - Great 5 - Outstanding » Discuss this Game in the Forums Pros Cons Easy to learn, yet deep economic modeling; great editor and multiplayer. Manual lacks depth; very minor interface annoyances. Advertisement There's something fascinating about the iron giants that straddled continents and ushered in the industrial age.
