Part puzzle game, part retro experience, part mindfuck, I haven't played anything as engaging and interesting as Pony Island in a long time. Play it without much prior knowledge and it's a stream of cool moments that will no doubt make some people (idiots) stare in awe, or at least give an acknowledging nod, to say, 'well done game, well done.' Imagine going to the cinema to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks but in fact getting a screening of that film spliced with Misery.
