Old School Musical
Old School Musical is a retro rhythm game that will make you fall back in your childhood. Tib and Rob are the heroes of an epic and completely crazy adventure that will make them cross numerous worlds searching for the source of all bugs. With more than 20 original levels, a story mode, some hidden minigames and much more, Old School Musical offers a richer experience than most rhythm games.

Old School Musical‘s laser-like focus on delivering a remix of the classic titles of yore with modern rhythm gameplay is a real delight. Don’t hesitate to add it to your collection. In closing, I had a fantastic time with Old School Musical. It’s quirky, different, full of humor and charm. For $12.99 you’re getting a hell of a bargain, providing at least 10 hours of gameplay, and that’s without trying to get high scores on all the songs in Arcade mode. La Moutarde wasn’t on my radar before, but they certainly are now. If you own a Switch or game on Steam, Old School Musical is rhythm game you should not miss. Go help Tib and Rob save the day; you won’t regret it.

Old School Musical wear it's inspirations on its sleeves, but manages to find its own path. There's a lot to do beyond the main story, and with different difficulty modes (which you can change at the start of each level) there's a lot of game to see here. While it isn't without its faults, Old School Musical is absurdly fun, and worthy of a place in any Switch owners library who fancies themselves a fan of music.

If you grew up in the '80s and '90s playing video games then Old School Musical is a must-play game for the nostalgia factor alone. Overall, if its simple and solid gameplay doesn't win you over then its humour and charm definitely will.Old School Musical gameplay video → The VideoKid Review Switch ★★☆☆☆ Remember the classic arcade game Paperboy? Well, The VideoKid is basically a modern interpretation of it so let's deliver some videos. The fact that an indie developer felt compelled to essentially recreate Paperboy with modern voxel visuals is fairly perplexing.
