Project Starship X is a prime example of what happens when a developer puts a lot of effort and love into creating a stand-out sequel.Project Starship X gameplay video → Project Starship Review Zotrix Starglider Review Switch ★★☆☆☆ There have been a few Zotrix games over the years and Starglider is here to provide some co-op shmup action but is it any good? Zotrix Starglider is a barebones arcade shooter where you and a friend fend off encroaching enemies throughout multiple mostly empty stages.

Hey Poor Player

Jan 29, 2021

Project Starship X feels fantastic in every sense of the word. The difficulty is tough but fair, the levels are wildly diverse with recognizable patterns, and there’s replayability for miles. I greatly enjoyed playing in on my PS4, although I think I would have preferred the more personal, mobile Switch version — there’s something about having all these flashing lights and phenomenal chiptunes up close and personal. Regardless, Project Starship X delivers no matter where you play it, which I strongly encourage you do. Whether this is your first shmup or your 400th, Project Starship X does not disappoint, providing an addicting, engaging assault to the eyes and ears you won’t be able to quit.

Project Starship X is a well put together retro shmup with tons of style. It’s simple and hones its small selection of moves into well-handled and white knuckle sections of gameplay. However it’s also relatively short, and lacks any real depth unless you’re a score-chaser. Project Starship X is available now on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 , Xbox One (review platform), Google Stadia, and Steam.
