Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath
This is the next free update/expansion to the game Path of Exile. This update will, among other improvements and additions, change the games main story and level progression. It will be changed from a 4 act story campaign being repeated over 3 difficulties to a single story campaign across 10 acts with new enemies and bosses in each area.

I’ve been having a great time with PoE, and it’s fast become my go-to when I need to get in a rewarding grind. The Xbox One version may be a little late to the party, but it was absolutely worth the wait. This fantastic game takes the best of the genre and propels them to impressive new heights.

Path of Exile isn't a mega-budget game like Diablo, but you'd hardly know it. Since the Steam version's inception in 2013, Grinding Gear Games has done a great job of revamping and improving the game.

The funny thing, though, is no matter how much Path of Exile changes, it always feels the same. You are always striving to push deeper into the game, always working to figure out the perfect build. And that, my friend, is the difference between a good ARPG and a great one.

Path of Exile is nothing truly new, but it is a well crafted and incredibly deep game in the loot grinding genre. Particularly recommended if you can play it with friends.

Path of Exile has been out on PC for a little while now, but I have only just taken the time to play it since its release on the Xbox One. With it being a free game, I had previously found myself wondering: Just how good can this be? The answer surprised me: Very, very good. Path of Exile works as well as it does because the developers have found an almost masterful blend of familiar elements, polished presentation and unique qualities that many big budget AAA titles fail to provide. It all starts with the character customization process.and really, that creativity permeates through the game itself.

Without question, Path of Exile is a great, if not one of the greatest, values for dollar you can find on the Xbox platform at this very moment. Grinding Gear Games has demonstrated that you don't need to spend $60 and up on a game that is going to be shelved in a matter of weeks as you wait for more content to arrive. Despite a few hiccups, Path of Exiles is a pure joy to play, and with a quality microtransaction system in place (Editors Note: I know, who knew we'd say something like that), it's worth every single penny to play this game.
