One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a treat for fans who just want to be a hero for fun and beat the living daylights out of some villains. It hits all the right marks while allowing players to battle along side their heroes. One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows takes on the highly popular anime from a different perspective and pulls it off pretty well. With its unique fighting, over-the-top moves and charm from the show, fans can enjoy watching Saitama all over again. Newcomers will have some difficulty following along, but it may be enough to interest them in the show afterward (or in doing 100 push-ups, sit-ups, and squats and a 10K run every single day). After all, it’s just a hobby.

One-Punch Man fans have a lot to be excited about with this game and should definitely check it out! Even though the game is not centered around Saitama, it does closely follow the first few major story arcs in the manga, which makes this nerd very happy. The game is also simple enough for a young child to follow and enjoy (if the parent is okay with violence and chaos, that is). All in all, I give this game a 75 out of 100 for its easy to grasp combat system, endless player customization, and the beautiful visuals.

An amusing and charming fighter RPG with some very unique elements. If you are able to overlook some of the combat's shortcomings, getting to play as Saitama will make it all worthwhile.

As a fan of the world of One Punch Man, I really couldn’t ask for anything more. You build a hero from the ground up, utilizing a massive amount of unlockable content to shape and mold your character how you see fit. Want an enormous cardboard box on your head? Maybe you’d prefer to wear multiple pairs of sunglasses on your thighs? Or how about two Saitama masks covering both butt cheeks? All of this, and so much more, is at your fingertips, and at the end of the day, that sort of zaniness is what makes One Punch Man. The fighting itself is nothing to write home about – I guarantee you’ve played a better fighter. But if the simplicity doesn’t turn you off, and you enjoy the source material, OPM can be great.
