Metal Slug Tactics successfully captured the chaotic essence of the series in a tactical game by introducing an innovative way to play. The series’ identity remains intact through its graphics, soundtrack, and the lighthearted, unpretentious personality of its characters. The game offers an enjoyable challenge but can be punishing for those unfamiliar with tactical games. While fun, the roguelike style may become tedious over time, especially if performance issues are not addressed.
