More Than a Feeling brings the full force of the Guardians and adds some members to it that really help round out the squad. It feels like there's a full team involved with this and it brings more impact or well generally opinions when it comes down to a very defining point in the season.

Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy has been circumventing my expectations ever since the crew killed Thanos in the very first episode, and that trend continued here. I really have no clue where the series will go next, and that leaves me excited. I’m more than happy to be along for the ride with Star Lord and his ragtag crew. Telltale is clearly trying hard to make their Guardians series feel like Guardians of the Galaxy. Whether it’s the goofy montage that plays out to a typical Guardians track, the bickering in the group, or just one of Drax’s superbly-delivered one-liners, episode three continued to just feel like a good time. The signature Guardians of the Galaxy humor was once again present, too.

We're close. To what exactly? To this series reaching the same heights with me that Tales from the Borderlands did. Hands-down that was my favorite Telltale Games title so far, but you know what? Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy - Episode 3: More Than A Feeling shows that the devs really have a handle on mixing some science fiction and humor together. Something about this just clicks.

More Than a Feeling was an overall better episode than Under Pressure. It feels like a second half, with episode 2 having gotten all the exposition out of the way, finding and using the Eternity Forge gave Episode 3 all the oomph it needed. With 2 episodes left, I remain invested in seeing what’s in store for the Guardians and what happens to bring the Galaxy back to status quo. Reviewer and Editor for Darkstation by day, probably not the best superhero by night.

Tonally, the episode is all over the place, though that’s to be expected with the Guardians. At times it’s quite serious and a bit depressing, but then there are moments of joy and some genuinely laugh-out-loud gags. As the series moves on, it’s obvious that the relationships within the team are really becoming strained. Like a family, however, they stick together when the going gets tough. But who knows how long that will last. With only two episodes of Telltale Games’ Guardians of the Galaxy left, once again I’m left excited as to where the story is headed next.

Episode 3: More than a Feeling is another welcome addition to one of Telltale’s more promising works. While failing to stay on the same level of narrative importance as its prior installment, Episode 3 is a fun and enjoyable entry in this surprisingly great adaptation of a much beloved series.
