Life Is Strange - Episode 2: Out of Time surpasses the previous episode in the emotional and storytelling aspect. If this series gets any better, then we may a company on par with TellTale Games when it comes to this type of story based gameplay.

Despite its generic title, “Out of Time” is the best episode yet of Life Is Strange. It increases the complexity Max’s life and the power she commands. We often believe time travel to be the greatest gift anyone could receive.

Whilst Dontnod refuse to directly answer a bunch of the questions posed in the first episode, Episode Two succeeds at adding yet more wrinkles to what is quickly becoming a compelling story arc that will likely span all five episodes before delivering its answers. With this episode behind me, I no longer question Dontnod’s ability to create compelling characters and write an exciting storyline.
