Endless Space 2
In Endless Space you play the role of the leader of one of the many intelligent beings of a galaxy at the beginning of the space age. Very quickly, you discover the remnants of an older civilization. That civilization called themselves the Endless, among their ruins, a matter called Dust with amazing proprieties is found. It shapes into whatever its user thinks of, it gives a reality to dreams… dreams that lead to the extinction of the Endless. Since then that matter became the most precious matter of the universe, and therefore the universal currency… but in front of the power of the Dust it is hard, even for the purest beings, not to fall under its charm… We want the players to live an experience that goes beyond just strategy. You will live your own story of space conquest, with your own randomly generated galaxy full of civilizations, lifeforms, technologies and unknown worlds for you to conquer.

If you're looking for a replayable sci-fi strategy game to grab a hold of your man hours, then Endless Space 2 will provide you with all you desire. Endless Space 2 sets a new and beautiful benchmark for the 4X genre, masterfully laid out and something future 4x developers will enjoy learning from.

Endless Space 2 is exactly what you would hope of a sequel to a beloved 4X game series. It takes what it learned not just from the previous incarnation, but also from community feedback via Games2gether and from other games as well. This leaves us with a new game that expands on its roots – not reinvents them.

Endless Space 2 doesn't sugarcoat the 4x experience, and it can be daunting when you realize that all 600 icons on the screen have a tooltip you need to read to make just this one decision. Despite all that complexity, none of it seems unnecessary, which means every one of those tooltips has essential information. Recommendation: Endless Space 2 is not an entry-level 4x game, though an experienced strategy gamer will likely be able to pick it up readily enough.
