Overview

Bucket Detective – A dark comedy/horror game in which you help a cult complete a strange ritual in exchange for divine inspiration to finish writing your terrible novel. A mostly linear experience, but the choices you make determine which of the five unique endings you receive. Play multiple times to unlock the complete story. Takes around 45 minutes to complete once and another 20 minutes to get a few more endings.

It starts ugly and ends ugly, without enough humour or horror in between to shock or surprise. I'm not convinced its mingling of arcane silliness and actual suffering quite works either; it's a bit like Martyrs with gross sex jokes.
