Even long after completing the game, you’ll continue to enjoy playing through every level again and again because it is just that much fun. Bloodroots is a triumph and hopefully a sign of more things to come from a wickedly talented studio.

Overall, BloodRoots is an outstanding game. It combines fun and fast-paced strategic action with a stellar soundtrack, appealing art style and weapon variation that makes this game stand out within its genre. Despite some technical issues, Bloodroots is an excellent top-down action game, one of the very best.

Bloodroots is one of the best action games of 2020. It’s comically designed from a visual standpoint and extremely well made from a gameplay perspective. Bloodroots is a simple, rewarding, fulfulling blast every step of the way and it is almost impossible to feel disappointed while playing.
