Our game tells you a story about Flint Trucker's adventures in crazy freakin' world. Flint is a brutal man with a shotgun who just try to reach home to save his love. But the car got broken, way to home is blocked by thousands of creepy animals and mad men. What is left to do, except of take the gun and discover himself what the hell is going on!

Seriously fun and straight forward, this side-scrolling bullet hell is wonderfully ridiculous. I would definitely recommend giving it a go. Divebombing pandas and raging circus bears on unicycles. What more do I need to say, hmm?

Creepy Road is a mixed bag of pros and cons. Whilst it looks and sounds the part, handles quite fluidly, and comes with a diverse variation of enemies and weaponry, there’s just too many glaring issues holding it back. Chief among them being lazily designed boss battles, poor hit detection, and several environmental bugs. It’s a shame really, because had the developer held the game’s quality to a higher standard, this could have been a hit. This game was tested and reviewed on Xbox One.

Creepy Road ends up being more frustrating than fun. The poor pacing, heightened difficulty, and lack of tight controls kill any goodwill generated by the humor and good graphics presented on-screen.

Creepy Road is a game filled to the brim with promise. It presents a cool, stylish world with a really vibrant art style, but is ultimately let down by glitchy game mechanics. While this is a real shame, it’s an interesting first step for Groovy Milk, and I’m fascinated to see what they do next.

There are a decent amount of weapons, enemy types, and environments, but those are cold comforts in the face of frustrating issues like awkward weapon management, unpolished platforming, wonky enemy AI, and tedious combat encounters. A good first attempt, but the game suffers from poor design all around.
