Youtubers Life is quite an endearing management experience that, surprisingly, doesn’t come across too taxing nor too demanding. There’s a decent amount of depth to be found here, but its lack of gameplay variation is what holds it back the most. Nevertheless, if you can overlook that and forgive the game for its repetition, Youtubers Life will keep you gleefully busy for hours on end. This game was tested and reviewed on Xbox One.

At its core, YouTubers Life is an addictive and fun, yet condensed, insight into how the most influential content creators came to be. The cartoonish outlook to a YouTuber’s rise to fame, and the care and attention you must pay to all facets of your career, is slightly tarnished by the confusing deck-building mechanics, boring social events and slightly repetitive nature.

Fans of simulation games will probably quite enjoy this title. While it isn’t as in-depth or fleshed out as The Sims, Youtuber’s Life is addictive and fun in a more condensed form. Not to mention being able to watch your stats and view rates climb with each video certainly has some merit. Unfortunately, with the confusing deck-building mechanics, boring social events and repetitive nature does somewhat kind of tarnish the overall goodness to the game.

YouTubers Life OMG is an agreeable video-making tycoon game wrapped up in a few fundamental problems. The main gameplay loop is compelling, and it's a pleasure to watch as your subscriber tally and bank account start to soar. However, some poor presentation, a clumsy camera, and a couple of other small issues stop it from being the viral hit it wants to be. Those looking for a casual management sim to tackle may find some enjoyment here, but it's hard to recommend it to anyone else.
