Unless you've got friends willing to pass as potential victims, it's about a day's worth of cheap thrills. But those seeking a suitable multiplayer scrap should find themselves in good shape with this one.

Animation is fluid and the games frame rate manages to stay consistent no matter how frantic action become. Rag doll physics are used for characters death animation and although this usually provides some realism it can be a little over the top if you get blown up by a grenade.

It should go without saying that the sights and sounds of Battlefront are top notch. The presentation, from menus to gameplay, is perfectly tailored to the identity of Star Wars. Each of the 16 maps on 10 planets is detailed and intricate, and most are familiar from the movies.

The incredibly well-modeled levels, the accurately modeled weapons and vehicles, and the awesome straight-from-the-movie sounds greatly enhanced the experience and made it feel like I was truly in the midst of a huge battle. While you CAN potentially enjoy this game in single-player mode, I wouldn't advise it.
