Spec Ops: The Line's biggest strength is its nuanced and complex narrative that subverts typical military shooter tropes and explores the limits of idealism and survival. However, the standard gameplay and problematic AI detract from the overall experience. The attention to detail in the setting of Dubai and the changing visual aspect of the team members are well-done.
