Siegecraft Commander is a fun release that will scratch that tower defense/strategy itch on PlayStation 4. The game is easy to learn and very polished, which makes for a great experience on the console. The only complain I’d have for the game is that it starts out a bit slowly, but things pick up shortly after you begin your first campaign. It’s an entertaining release you should try on PS4 today.

I have really enjoyed Siegecraft Commander, the learning curve is not too steep so it would be great for casual player. I can see it being a big hit in a LAN setting.

In all, Siegecraft Commander is a great game. Is melds RTS, Artillery, and Tower Defense games in such a way as to make a fun, accessible console strategy experience. The single-player campaign is long enough to get your money’s worth, but if you have friends to play with, I highly recommend picking this title up. PS Plus members can purchase it on sale for $13.99 during the two weeks following its release. A copy of this game was provided by the publisher for review purposes.

Siegecraft Commander is a fun and delightful RTS title that is easily approachable for serious strategists and newcomers alike. With the focus being on expanding across the map and staying in the action as opposed to resource management, the game never feels like it is lagging and is constantly nudging you into the throes of war.

There are some good RTS games on current gen consoles and some bad ones but Siegecraft Commander falls somewhere in between. It does some things really well but things like the wonky aiming controls hold it back from being great. There is currently not much of an online community if one at all as I was unable to get matched with anyone online.
