CRITIK
Samurai Warriors 4-II is a hack and slash game and the enhanced version of the original Samurai Warriors 4. It is described as neither a continuation nor an Xtreme Legends expansion like previous games; instead, it provides a "different" focus of the same game. Players choose a character as their protagonist for a selected scenario, which has a different progression depending on the character selected. Dream Castle Mode, first introduced in Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 3 is also present in the game. The game adds one new character, Naomasa Ii, to the character roster.

Samurai Warriors 4-II is a great addition to the series and proves to be plenty of fun, whether you're playing solo or with a friend. Go get yourself lost in this Feudal era drama. * The product in this article was sent to us by the developer/company. In a past life I worked with Interplay, EA, Harmonix, Konami, and a number of other developers.

Despite the flaws, this game is still really fun if you are a Warriors fan. If you are wondering if you should step back into the Warring States period with Nobunaga or not; the answer is yes.

Even though the game doesn’t look any better from the previous instalment, Samurai Warriors 4-II’s gameplay is as fun as ever and the story is definitely worth your time.

Rather than a reforged sword, 4-II is more of a secondary blade – and its edge is just as sharp.
