Cleaning is so much fun when it isn't in real-life, you just wash away all these feelings and feel better when playing PowerWash Simulator. Thank you FuturLab for an amazing game.

PowerWash Simulator is a fun experience, due to its addicting mechanics and progression system while acknowledging it is still in development. However, it will likely improve as development progresses, and we look forward to seeing what FuturLab has in store. Our PowerWash Simulator review was written based on the PC version of the game.

Hey Poor Player
Jul 27, 2022
The 80 hours I spent with PowerWash Simulator were gloriously relaxing; I powered through my favorite podcasts on one screen as I powerwashed the days away on another. It’s an easy way to just unplug from life’s stresses and… you know, powerwash those worries away (along with all that muck and grime, of course). Any perceived issues are extremely minor considering how much bang you get for your buck, and that goes doubly so if you’re an achievement hunter. Make no mistake — PowerWash Simulator deserves the Overwhelmingly Positive rating it’s received on Steam, and if you’re looking for the best way to chill after a long day of work, Muckingham is a dirty stone’s throw away.

While the lack of gyro support is disappointing, PowerWash Simulator is a very good conversion for Switch. The only downside is the long load times in its current state. Barring that, it is a fantastic way to experience PowerWash Simulator, and a perfect fit for portable play. I hope it gets a physical release in the future with all DLC content included and I’m looking forward to the Final Fantasy VII DLC pack. Out of all the “Simulator" games on the eShop, this one is special. –Mikhail Madnani SwitchArcade Score: 4.5/5 New Releases Nadir: A Grimdark Deck Builder ($19.99) Another one of those roguelike deck builder games that were all the rage a while back.

Whilst the joy of cleaning an item in PowerWash Simulator may not translate quite so well to real life (perhaps the sense of satisfaction once the job is done… but enjoying the process is easier in a virtual world), this is definitely a great game to just put on and relax to. It’s at a decent price too, so it’s a great title to add to your collection when you are stressed out with the fast paced, violent (mess making) games… fire up PowerWash Simulator and wash your cares away.

Use a Potion

PowerWash Simulator takes a typical everyday chore and turns it into a cathartic gameplay experience that’s a lot of fun to play. I didn’t think that I’d find cleaning the filth from an assortment of locales and objects so entertaining, but I’ve found myself completely addicted to the game and pouring hours in. It’s the perfect game to play when you want to unwind, whether that’s alone or when chatting with friends in online co-op. There’s no doubting that it won’t be for everyone, and yes, the gameplay will get repetitive and samey after a few hours play.
