Worth Playing
May 29, 2018
The more relaxed method of storytelling works well to get newcomers interested in the cartoon series, and there's enough here to get them up to speed on each character's personalities. The fighting isn't deep, but it's still enjoyable if you don't mind that the battles against even low-level enemies can be quite lengthy. The same can be said for the adventure portion, which can be pretty shallow but still fun. This may not be a must-have title, but it's still worth checking out as an example of a fairly decent licensed title.

What makes OK K.O.! Let’s Play Heroes so suitable for gamers of many ages is not just the ease of gameplay, but the delightful characters and storyline. Young players can become a lovable hero and fight evil robots while older players can enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of an innocent dreamer.

The fighting is a lot of fun if you can deal with the rest of the game.

While unfortunately bogged down by frequent padding and repetition, Let's Play Heroes does enough right to still be fun and feel genuine.W

From the voice acting to the music, you can tell this game was made for fans. I’ve never seen the show, so for me some of the humor fell flat and I clicked through excessive dialogue. But those were minor flaws as far as the story goes. And fans of the show will probably appreciate the humor more than I could. All in all, this game is well made for its audience.

It starts off great, but really fizzles out despite adding new features early on to try and move things along. Still, OK K.O. Let’s Play Heroes will do a decent enough job at keeping the kids entertained for a few hours.
