Over the last few years, we have seen some exceptional Metroidvania games take the spotlight. Hollow Knight and more recently, the phenomenal Ori and the Will of the Wisps have pushed the genre forward in many ways. Unfortunately for Micetopia, developed by Ninja Rabbit Studio, it’s an adventure that has little going for it in comparison to its contemporaries. Let’s get into it. A Mouse Adventurer The game has you play as Rich, a courageous little mouse in the fantasy kingdom of Micetopia.
