I started out quite enjoying Lumberhill but as the game kept progressing the faults became just a little too apparent. The novelty of the same missions wears off pretty quickly. On top of that, the gameplay lacks a lot of polish. The game may be pick up and play but a lot of the mechanics just feel clunky. On top of that, this is another title that has inconsistent difficulty. With a bit of polish, a lot of these issues could be patched out. I still recommend the game if you’re looking to play with some friends locally or online. You may even have a laugh at some of the game’s glitches, just watch out for splinters.

Despite the somewhat mundane tasks that gamers need to complete, it is the range of environmental dangers that make Lumberhill a fun couch party game to play with family or friends. Whether you’re playing co-operatively or in competition with one another, there is a ton of enjoyment to be had. With simple controls (albeit somewhat clunky at times), cute cartoon visuals, tight level design and varied themes and environmental dangers, Lumberhill is a fun game for up to four players. When we’re all cooped up inside the house during lockdown, what better way to build up a sweat than to virtually chop down some trees and herd animals into their barns. I can almost smell the fresh outdoors just thinking about it. Lumberhill is a great party game to break out when friends come over or for parents who want to game with their younger children. The unresponsiveness of its controls can make the game frustrating to play at times, but those who are just playing casually shouldn't have too many problems. Those who need a chaotic multiplayer title could do a lot worse that Lumberhill's goofy lumberjack antics. Lumberhill is a perfectly enjoyable, if not entirely original, time-challenge multi-tasking party game with levels that take you to some fun places.

Even though I wanted to enjoy Lumberhill, it definitely has a very long way to go to match the quality of its co-op contemporaries.Lumberhill gameplay video → More Multiplayer Switch Indie Games RiffTrax: The Game Review Xbox One ★★★★☆ From the makers of last year's underrated party game What The Dub?! comes another silly dub experience with RiffTrax: The Game. Just like in What The Dub?!, RiffTrax: The Game is a party game where you and your friends input missing lines of dialogue in B-movie clips then vote on whose is funniest.
