Life is Strange: Remastered Collection allows fans of the franchise to come home to Arcadia Bay and experience the stories of Max and Chloe all over again with a beautiful update to the visuals. It’s wonderfully nostalgic to hear the chilled out indie music playing over long, sprawling cutscenes. It’s just as easy to be drawn into the complex plot themes of love, betrayal, loneliness and revenge… all against the darker backdrop of murder, drugs and kidnap. This is the perfect time for those who never quite got around to it the first time to jump in. It is such a wonderful experience with all the visual updates that come with the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection.

At the end of the day, the value of Life Is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection comes down to whether the Nintendo Switch release is a worthy and required port. If players haven't had the chance to experience Life Is Strange and the Switch is their platform of choice, then it is an obvious choice to go make - particularly as it's then a jumping off point to also enjoy the brilliance of Life Is Strange 2 and True Colors. Meanwhile, long-time fans may have a bit of hesitancy, as it's not an entirely necessary upgrade on the original games, but the portability of the Switch version could make it a useful way to play a much-loved game once again. Life Is Strange: Arcadia Bay Collection is out now for Nintendo Switch.

Life is Strange and Before the Storm are and ultimate bundle of joy and should be celebrated. It's not the perfect way to do it for the moment, but I'm sure there's going to be future fixes that will amend all prior issues mentioned. This event alone introduces us the first game’s premise and how it would shape both Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm’s narrative, from life to death, triumph and heartbreak and morally challenging players into choosing right from wrong, whether or not it may be the popular choice.
