It's a simple, fun time you can experience by yourself and with your friends. It has numerous addictive gameplay elements that will keep you coming back for more. Unfortunately, that has its limits and you will eventually become bored with it. However, for the price, It came from space and ate our brains gives you a lot, especially when compared to many indie games. If you like top-down horror-style arena shooters, this is something you'll want to grab. It’s still a solid experience but it could use some expansion or improvement, which if a sequel is ever created, Triangle Studios surely has the opportunity to address.

It Came from Space and Ate Our Brains doesn't do anything all that differently from other games of its ilk. It does all of the expected things well enough, so you'll find the experience to be enjoyable either alone or with local friends. While not exactly a top-tier experience, it is recommended if you've gone through the slew of twin-stick heavy hitters the system already has on offer.

It's definitely a solid twin-stick shooter but after a while, It came from space and ate our brains becomes so monotonous that you'll eventually feel like something came from space and ate your brain. Well, they got me there, I guess. It came from space and ate our brains gameplay video → SpeedRunners Review Switch ★★★★☆ Racing / platforming hybrids usually provide exciting couch multiplayer experiences and SpeedRunners certainly fits that description. SpeedRunners debuted a few years ago and I've been meaning to give it a go yet never did for whatever reason.

Triangle Studios’ latest release makes a strong first impression with striking visual effects and satisfying shooting mechanics. Sadly, the appeal quickly wears thin, exposing its repetitive gameplay and samey environments. Good for a handful of short bursts, especially with friends, but it feels too much like an unfinished product to fully recommend. It came from space and ate our brains (Reviewed on Nintendo Switch) Minor enjoyable interactions, but on the whole is underwhelming. Triangle Studios’ latest release makes a strong first impression with striking visual effects and satisfying shooting mechanics.
