Lost Between Worlds is a six-hour experience that, at its best, is a fun exploration of stunning locations, and, at its worst, a redundant game broken by its premise. If you are making a run-based game, then change the locations slightly or give the player significant upgrades so you are not repeating the same tasks consistently.

Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds feels like a bit of a wash, echoing too much of what came prior in the base game and DLCs. With required repeated runs through the same environments and a new combat mechanic that doesn’t amount to much, this expansion doesn’t provide much players haven’t seen before outside of a strange new story for Dani Rojas. * The product in this article was sent to us by the developer/company. Lost Between Worlds feels like a creative misstep for the Far Cry franchise. Though it is refreshing to see the series attempt new things, none of the additions are well-realized enough to justify the existence of this add-on.

Outside of some trippy, awe-inspiring vistas that throw Yara into space, the only impressive thing about this DLC is that it is the fourth time Ubisoft has failed to turn Far Cry 6 into a compelling roguelite. The three villain-based expansions were shallow and dull in ways that missed why Far Cry and roguelites are beloved.
