This game is great, absolute masterpiece in a genre that hasn’t really been popular in the scene. There’s great voice acting, a beautiful soundtrack and tons of action. If you’re looking for a great storytelling action based role playing game while fighting for good or evil, this is the way to go. Aside from a few frame drops here and there and the random audio drop, this game is a complete masterpiece. A diamond in the rough if you will.

Despite looking like a full-on action game, Devil’s Hunt focuses on its story and narrative heavily. While cutscenes are often used in this game, I never felt like they were too much nor too long and was well balanced between fighting scenes and story elements. This game is very linear and thus, it’s impossible to get stuck, and the gameplay is fairly easy as well. Sadly, Devil’s Hunt has a few graphical and framerate issues, but it has decent visuals overall. That being said, I can highly recommend Devil’s Hunt if you enjoy a narrative-driven game with battle elements throughout.

Devil's Hunt's battle between the forces of Heaven and Hell can be visually stunning, but highly unpolished at times. Stiff animation and various bugs mares the rather great voice acting in the game.

In addition to a spectacularly unlikable antihero protagonist, Devil’s Hunt has combat that sometimes feels like an afterthought and endless cutscenes that desperately need the help of better writers and designers. I liked its story, and a better executed Devil’s Hunt could give Devil May Cry or that other Polish novel-based game a run for its money.
