CRITIK
Isometric shooter set in the fantasy/science-fiction, which is the spiritual successor of similar conceptually, Dead Nation. The player takes the role of a mercenary who fights against all the hordes of invading aliens. In addition, the Alienation offers an optional cooperative mode for four people.

I’d highly suggest Alienation to just about any fan of action games, even more so if you enjoy the Diablo franchise or other, similar top-down shooters. It’s a blast to play, even more so with other people in tow, and the loot system is really solid here.

This dual-stick shooter RPG hits like a mammoth and secures a notch on the “must-play” board. Containing an excellent, accessible RPG system, fantastic presentation, and fluid combat, Alienation stands strong, and can produce hours of fun.

Alienation may lack the tactical nuance of Helldivers, but it makes up for it with tight shooting and a tonne of pretty-pretty explosions.

Alienation does top down shooters justice, making every mission more exciting and innovative than the last. As well all the characters are very well balanced as a whole. And for the $20 purchase, it is a great price for the amount of content that is given. Alienation can be played very casually, yet it can also be incredibly competitive and intense, I would recommend this to anyone a fan of this genre.

Alienation might appear like a fun little distraction but it's a lot more than that. With intuitive controls and a welcome sense of depth, it's an enjoyable romp that will keep you enthralled longer than you think you'd be. Pros: - Great visuals - Interesting RPG mechanics - Explosions galore Cons: Rating (out of 10): 9 We played a review copy of Alienation on the PS4.
